AIRCHARGE strongly suggests that you use your phone SIM card pin protection to password protect your phone! This will protect your data, phone book, and unwanted use if your phone is lost or stolen.

STEPS TO LOAD AIRCHARGE JavaME SOFTWARE ON JAVA COMPATIBLE PHONES VIA OVER-THE-AIR DOWNLOAD

DATE CHECK

• Press Menu then scroll to Settings and press SELECT then scroll to Initial Setup and press SELECT.
• Verify Year is actually the current year. If not, scroll to Year and press button below CHANGE. Press DELETE as needed to correct year and press OK. You will see "Datebook events may be deleted. Continue?" You must press the button below YES. After confirming date change press BACK then EXIT.

PROGRAM SPACE

(ONLY FOR PHONE TYPES: i50sx, i58sr, i85s, i88s, & i90c - FOR ALL OTHER PHONE TYPES SKIP THIS STEP)
You may need to remove some programs from your phone in order to load the AIRCHARGE software.
WARNING - Do not remove Download Apps it is required to download AIRCHARGE software.

• Press Menu and scroll to Java Apps and SELECT. Java Apps menu will be shown.
• Remove all non-used programs leaving only DOWNLOAD APPS and JAVA SYSTEMS installed on your phone.
• To remove programs: highlight the program to remove, press the menu button on your phone, and then highlight the Deinstall or Remove menu item. Follow the instructions on the phones screen.

IF YOU NEED TO LOAD AIRCHARGE SOFTWARE, PLEASE FOLLOW THE NEXT STEP.

• Push Menu and highlight Java Apps. Scroll to Download Apps.
• Push button below RUN or INSTALL. (If INSTALL is shown wait for program to install itself and then press DONE.) If RUN is the choice, Screen will show "Authenticating". If the Download Apps program has never been run on the phone, text information will be displayed about the Download Apps system.
• Press Bypass.
• Scroll to Subscriptions (Nextel) or Finance (Southern LINC Wireless) and press SELECT. Screen will show " Sending Request"
• Locate AIRCHARGE. Press the SELECT button. Screen will again show "Sending Request".
• App Details will now be shown and you should press GET IT. The system will start to download the application directly to the phone. Be patient as the two files needed are loaded.
• Press EXIT when completed.

IF YOU NEED TO LOAD AIRCHECKZ SOFTWARE, PLEASE FOLLOW THE NEXT STEP.

• Push Menu and highlight Java Apps. Scroll to Download Apps.
• Push button below RUN or INSTALL. (If INSTALL is shown wait for program to install itself and then press DONE.) If RUN is the choice, Screen will show "Authenticating". If the Download Apps program has never been run on the phone, text information will be displayed about the Download Apps system.
• Press Bypass.
• Scroll to Free/Demo and press SELECT. Screen will show "Sending Request"
• Locate AIRCHECKZ. Press the SELECT button. Screen will again show "Sending Request".
• App Details will now be shown and you should press GET IT. The system will start to download the application directly to the phone. Be patient as the two files needed are loaded.
• Press EXIT when completed.

INSTALLING SOFTWARE

• Once you have exited the Download Apps program, you will need to scroll to AIRCHARGE and press the button below INSTALL. Wait for the program to install on the phone. When "DONE" appears press the button below it.

SETTING UP MERCHANT SYSTEM

• Scroll to AIRCHARGE and press RUN.
• Scroll to SETUP and press OK. Please write down the Phone ID and call us at 866-718-2800. We do software setups/activations M - F from 9am to 5:00pm CST. (PLEASE DO NOT CALL FROM THE CELL PHONE BEING ACTIVATED)
